Wi-Fi Based Real Time Locating Systems (RTLS)

Indoor personnel and asset tracking using existing Wi-Fi networks, without the need for additional equipment deployment.

Low Power Low Cost Wi-Fi Tags

A patented low-power, cost-effective Wi-Fi module designed to provide efficient performance while minimizing energy consumption.

Higher Locating Accuracy

Wi-Fi tags significantly enhance locating accuracy by integrating one of the following technologies: BLE iBeacon, Low Frequency Exicter, or UWB beacon

TECHNOLOGIES

WiFi-based Real-Time Location Systems offer seamless integration with existing WiFi networks. Our WiFi tags are built for precision, scalability, and ease of deployment, offering the perfect solution for businesses seeking to improve operational efficiency, optimize asset management, and gain real-time visibility.

ADVANTAGES

Our patented ultra-low power Wi-Fi technology ensures that Wi-Fi-based IoT devices, such as Wi-Fi tags and Wi-Fi buttons, consume minimal battery power, extending their lifespan. Additionally, software optimization on off-the-shelf Wi-Fi chips reduces the overall cost of these devices, making them more affordable for large-scale deployments.

APPLICATIONS

Our WiFi tags are ideal for a variety of sectors including healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, retail, exhibition, and education, with customizable solutions for asset tracking, personnel management, and inventory optimization.

SYSTEMS

Each Wi-Fi tag is assigned a distinctive 48-bit MAC address that serves as its unique identifier. It emits signals at regular intervals, with the transmission interval being configured according to the specific needs of the customer.

Wi-Fi Access Points (APs) operating in the monitoring mode scan for the signals sent out by these tags. Subsequently, the APs send the signal strength data and the ID of each individual tag to a locating server.

In regions lacking Wi-Fi coverage or where existing Wi-Fi APs fail to report signal metrics, dedicated Wi-Fi sensors are deployed to monitor and capture signal IDs and strength levels emitted by Wi-Fi-enabled devices.

When a Wi-Fi tag enters the area covered by a low-frequency exciter, the tag will wake up and transmit the unique ID of the exciter to a server.

Alternatively, a Wi-Fi tag equipped with a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module periodically scans the signals of BLE beacons and sends their IDs along with the signal strength information to a server.

Given that an exciter or a beacon is associated with a specific location, the server can obtain more precise position.

In addition to Wi-Fi tags, the system also provides precise indoor positioning for smart watches and smart phones.
